Care Advantage brings you a team of cancer-care experts—The Care Advantage Chemotherapy Adherence and Prescription Education Support (CARxES) team—that is focused on enhancing the care of cancer patients.

The CARxES team helps you achieve the results you desire for your patients while reducing many of the challenges oral therapies present to cancer care practices.

The CARxES team includes the following professionals:

Customer Service Representatives - ensure prescriptions are routed to the appropriate department, and are dedicated to providing you with the best experience when utilizing our pharmacy.

Patient Access Coordinators - verify prescription insurance coverage, identify excessive copay or out-of-pocket situations, assess patient's financial need, and assist in obtaining financial assistance when needed.

Pharmacy Technicians - ensure that prescriptions are processed with the utmost accuracy, and work with patients and practice staff to arrange prompt delivery.

Oncology Pharmacists - double-check the accuracy of each prescription, counsel patients as mandated by OBRA, and ensure smooth pharmacy operations.

Oncology-Certified Nurses - offer new patient teaching and proactive weekly follow-up calls, and notify the prescriber of drug/drug interactions, adverse drug events, and adherence issues during the course of therapy.

When your patients come to Care Advantage, we handle the increased responsibilities that come with the growing numbers of oral cancer therapeutics so you don't have to. We manage the complex financial coordination these drugs require, and we take care of the patient follow-up to guide therapy adherence—all toward achieving optimum outcomes for your patients.

Care Advantage means your patients will receive:

  • increased patient adherence;
  • improved patient outcomes;
  • greater patient satisfaction; and
  • up-to-date patient information for you.
